K well... ill cap up what ive done so far so people know what ive done to my bike as of yet...
K.. well.. we all know about the recall on the 05/06 on the clutch case.. well ofcourse mine shat on me while riding bla bla bla... so got that fixed.. then i bought a pulse charger exhaust and rejeted my carb to a 170.. was running way to rich so i took off the KnN pre filter... (running a uni with clamp set up) then it ran ok.. well to me it did... then after a while i feel like its not as.. peppy or doesnt have as much go or was expecting more out of it then what i got.. but figured it was just me since ive been riding the 450's the whole time my bike was in the shop... until 2 of my buddies took it out and mentioned that it doesnt feel like its getting enought throttle response like it takes a while to pick up.. u hammer it then it takes abit to go until u hit a high rev then its ok... i also find that it isnt always like that.. ill get random bursts where its running strong n has more pep then other times...
Now can this be because my valves are out of wack... jetting is waayyy to high or damaged piston, rings or scored cylender wall.. or any of those combos...
But like i mentioned.. i wasnt able to tell the difference minus the shity throttle response in low revs... its fine when im near the rev limiter but not on it.. but as soon as it has low rpm throttel response goes out the window its crap... n it took my friends to tell me to realize that it wasnt running up to par...
My best guess would be that the jetting is to big.. but would it make that much of a difference in throttle response?
