If I remember right...there`s an EXCELLENT pic of it in the 1 pinned topic in the Maintenance section that has all of the jets marked & labeled.

The fuel screw is the only screw ya should see & it sits down in that reccessed cylinder/tube that sticks outwards & it`s right at the edge of the casting facing the cylinder side of the carb & is dead center.

bottom side of the carb, center of the outlet(side that goes into the head boot) there will be a little plug pressed in there.

FAR MOST LEFT is the fuel screw in the pic. (outside of where the bowl seals up at).

screw it in all the way snug and back it 2.5 turns[/b]
NOT "snug" Josh!!! JUST LIGHTLY SEATED!!!

It`s OK ride.race.live it`s almost comical walkin` ya through it actually! Hey man...you are learning!!! :icon_biggrin:

2 - 2 1/2 out for now...we need to see what Pilot ya have in there! If it`s a #25...2 - 2 1/2 turns out on the fuel screw will be a good starting point.

Now...the Pilot jet is the 1 that`s caddy corner to your Main jet in that pic (it sits down in the reccessed tube) pull it out & read the # on the side of it & tell us what it is.

Jetting the stock carb isn`t really that bad at all...the FCR`s start getting trickier since they have the Leak jet & then tweakin` on the Accelerator Pump also.

Have no fear...my intentions are to get your carb set up as close as possible for ya before ya even put it back together & on your Z & to teach ya the basics so that you`ll comprehend it all fairly well & you`ll be able to do it the next time on your own basically. :icon_biggrin:

im here to help too man ill keep pointing right to chit if i need to i have no problem helping someone that wants to learn or help them self people that come on and post and expect me to hand them an answer just because they are part of the forum that gets under my skin but thats not the case here

I`m just glad Scott knows how to use the paint feature to put the arrows on the pics (I`m not bery good at doin` that kinda chit! :lol ).

Ya get that Pilot jet out yet? (ya may need to use a magnifying glass to read the # on it...it`s pretty faintly engraved & hard to see/read sometimes).

Was that a #165 MIKUNI or DJ Main Josh? (I`m guessin` a MIKUNI...cuz I was runnin` a MIKUNI #170 in mine w/ a modded lid & full system).
